Exporting Assets as a CSV File
Create CSV exports based on your asset selection and configuration
You can export your asset data as a CSV file for reporting, analysis, or sharing. The export can be customized to include only the data you need.
How to Export Assets
1. Select the assets you want to export
You can define which assets are included in your export in two ways:
- Apply filters using the table columns or map view
- Select individual assets using the checkboxes
If you don’t apply filters or select specific assets, all assets will be exported.
Note: If the export is very large, you may see a warning before continuing.
2. Open the export settings
- Click Export CSV above the table.
This opens the export configuration panel, where you can review and adjust your export.
3. Adjust CSV settings (optional)
You can customize how your file will be created:
- Set a file name
- Choose a separator (e.g. comma or semicolon)
- Adjust formatting settings
These settings are optional. If you don’t change anything, default settings will be used.
4. Choose and customize columns
A default set of columns is already selected. You can adjust them as needed:
- Rename columns (this only affects the file header)
- Reorder columns using drag and drop
- Remove columns by clicking the “x”
- Add new columns
- Change formats for supported fields (e.g. dates)
Add more columns
- Click Add Column
- Select from the list of available data fields
Some data fields include multiple subfields, which can be added individually.
Change column formats
For certain fields (such as dates), you can choose how values are displayed in the export:
- ISO format
- Standard date format
- Relative time
- Unix timestamp
A preview will show how the selected format will appear.
5. Start the export
- Click Export to generate your CSV file
If you need to adjust your selection, click Cancel and update your filters or asset selection.
6. Download your file
Once the export is ready, the file will be downloaded through your browser.
Important
- Large exports may take some time to process
- Very large files may be sorted by Asset ID automatically
